11 Months

A little late, but here are some 11 month photos of our little man!

Superbowl Success!

I have been a Broncos fan since I was little.  Growing up in Denver there really wasn't much of a choice.  I remember listening to songs about Orange Crush on the radio and hearing all about the Three Amigos.  The glorious days of John Elway!  I was at CSU when Denver won back-to-back Superbowl Champtionships and that was amazing!!!  So last night was a fun and special time!  We were able to watch with my dad (as mom is visiting our nieces in Idaho) the Broncos win over the Patriots and the Seahawks over the 49ers!  What awesome games!  I am so excited that a day before my birthday we will get to cheer on my two favorite teams!  There is nothing quite like having both teams you love in the superbowl!  (Oh and it's a perk that Bruno Mars is playing too).  After a week full of double-ear infections for our little guy and many sleepless nights, this was a great day!  Bring on February 2nd!

Disneyland December 2013

Part of the benefit of working part-time is flexibility. So we definitely took advantage of this flexibility and headed to California.  We left on the 11th and returned on the 16th, spending three amazing days in Disneyland!  My parents and our dear friend Natalie joined us.  A great, but exhausting time was had by all!

It was a fun time and we are looking forward to another trip... In a few years :-)

Happy New Year 2014

YAY!  So excited to ring in 2014.  Before that though a few pics as Daniel turned 10 months on the 10th of December....

Our annual tradition is to celebrate New Years with our friends  Tom and Fawnia.  It started many years ago (before kids).  Fawnia and Tom had some guests living with them and the guests' daughter was having a b-day party, so we invited them for New Years.  Two days later they we were still hanging out after and lots of food, games and fun; so we made it a tradition.  They don't stay the night anymore (or for several days), but each year we do something a little different.  One year we even ventured out to Portland, but found ourselves the first customers of Voodoo Donuts (no line) at midnight.  This year, we actually had a very calm new year.  Normally my parents watch the boys, but because they were needed to babysit in Idaho we had them... So it was low-key, but also nice.  We played games, ate fondue and enjoyed the company.  I created little bags of goodies for Andrew to open at 6:00, 7:00, 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, 11:00, and 11:45.  Filled with different little trinkets, hats, puzzles, candy and poppers! He loved it.  I was amazed but both boys stayed awake until midnight!  Daniel was ready for bed a little after, but Andrew was still ready to party.  We did get him settled down, but I had to take a few pics.

Happy New Year!
